关于PW家长咨询委员会：您已经是会员
Every parent and guardian of a Prince of Wales student is automatically a member of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). There’s no sign-up and no fee. Under the BC School Act, the PAC gives parents a voice at the school, works with the principal and staff, and raises money for the things the school budget can’t cover.
所有PW学生的家长和监护人都自动成为家长咨询委员会（PAC）的成员，无需报名，无需费用。

PAC money comes from parent donations, our fundraisers and the BC Community Gaming Grant ($16,960 this year). It’s split between the two semesters, with a small reserve held back for next year.
- Staff and clubs applyTeachers and club sponsors send in funding requests each semester.
- The executive reviewsOur treasurers and executive check each request against the budget and the Gaming Grant rules.
- Parents voteTeacher requests come to the October meeting. Clubs pitch at the November meeting.
- We top up in Semester 2Money raised during the year goes back to the requests, with the goal of funding teacher requests in full.
