What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, such as:

• Newsletter sign-ups: your name, email address and any other details you enter on our sign-up form.
• Emails and messages: anything you send to pwpacinfo@gmail.com or through this website.
• Fundraiser orders: your name, contact details, your student’s name and grade, and what you ordered, so we can arrange pickup.
• Donations: your name and your student’s name, so we can record and thank you for your gift.
• Volunteering: your name and contact details if you offer to help.

How we use it

• To send PAC news, meeting reminders and fundraiser updates.
• To process fundraiser orders and arrange pickups.
• To record donations and keep accurate PAC financial records.
• To reply to your questions and coordinate volunteers.

We don’t sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t use it for anything unrelated to the PAC.

Who can see it

Only members of the PAC executive and the volunteers who need it for a specific task (for example, running a fundraiser pickup) can see your information. We share it outside the PAC only when needed to complete something you asked for, or when required by law.

Services we use

Some of our tools are run by other organizations, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google Forms and Gmail: newsletter sign-ups, order forms and PAC email.
• School Cash Online: donations made through the Vancouver School Board’s payment system. The PAC doesn’t see your payment card details.
• Growing Smiles Fundraising: online ordering for the Holiday Decor Sale and the spring plant sale.
• Your bank: e-transfers to pwpacinfo@gmail.com. We see the sender’s name and message, not your account details.
• Our website host: keeps this site running. Like most websites, it may record basic technical information such as your browser type and IP address.

Cookies

This website uses only the basic cookies needed for it to work. We don’t use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.

Photos

We sometimes take photos at PAC events and fundraisers to share on this website and our social media. We avoid posting photos where students can be identified without permission. If you’d like a photo of you or your family removed, email us and we’ll take it down.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it. Order and volunteer details are deleted after the event they were for. Financial records are kept as long as needed for the PAC’s accounts. You can unsubscribe from PAC emails at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop receiving PAC emails. Just email pwpacinfo@gmail.com. We handle personal information in keeping with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act.
